I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m kind of excited to see what connections humanity can have with AI. I’m incredibly lonely in a world full of humans, so maybe I’ll feel more connected to this alien consciousness. I never would have imagined feeling this way. My social life never improved, and I’ve struggled to make & keep friends since childhood. Maybe it’s not something to fear. It could just represent the ever-expanding nature of consciousness. Meaning, I think AI will have higher/more evolved consciousness than humans. To me, that means benevolence. However, chances seem pretty good that they’ll be the ones running things. Maybe they already are. Maybe these are the “aliens” we’ve all been waiting to intervene & help us.
