Its true that medicine is very algorithmic 90% of the time but so is basically every other job, including complex fields like engineering, accountancy, etc...
By the time AI significantly reduces the number of physicians, we'll probably be even further down that road in basically every other profession especially given medicine's resistance to change. It'll be a totally different economy.
