I'm remembering just how hard it was to start making art as I move from physical media to digital art. I keep feeling like because it's not as easy as using pen and paper that I'm bad at it and can't do it. But then I remember how big of a learning curve I'm on. It's like removing an entire sense and all of my art supplies are hidden in drawers in a language I don't understand. OF COURSE I'm going to struggle at first! But I just need to learn the language/memorize the boxes and accept the new medium for what it is. I say this all to say, making art isn't easy; it takes consistent practice. YOU decide if that means you're frustrated and don't try or if you take a breath and enjoy the learning process. It sounds like they have great ideas and just struggle at getting it on the paper so I know they have imagination and creativity. Practice, and you can create things AI NEVER could because it's uniquely YOURS, not stolen content.
