Raw LLM Responses

I'm a fan of AI and I like having access to generative art. But credit where it is due, using tech to fight AI is also pretty cool. I haven't yet found anything I can use generative AI to help me with (by way of hobby game development,) probably because I am too busy (uni) to really look into it. But I was hoping to have AI do my character art on any future little projects. I do understand why artists don't like AI art, but for me as someone that can't draw at all, it's nice to think of someday having access to basic art to put together fun ideas. Code has been available for artists to use for years and now can be generated with AI. So when it comes to accessibility (in this instance meaning talent not disability,) it kinda feels like artists can create games more freely than programmers. I also think that maybe this attack against AI might play into the hands of big tech a little bit. The biggest companies will be the only ones able to navigate the situation being created, which means that cheaper open source methods will likely suffer most. As such securing the validity of putting their generators behind a paywall, something that was increasingly looking futile with all the new models being created. We will see how it turns out, but maybe (tin foils hats at the ready) if it works out like this, it would be possible that big tech leaked these methods of fighting back. Either way, it will be good for the artists to have less of their work taken and/or compensation given. As for me.... I guess I'll just make Tetris...
