I think they are asking the wrong group of people. Ask anyone in tech and the answer is AI has already started replacing jobs, it isn’t a question of when it’s how much will it. But it isn’t about the unemployment numbers, it should be measured by how many new jobs are being added as those entering the work force are those unable to find jobs where AI is replacing entry level work.
