Before cameras, one of the most valued things about drawings was realism. With a camera you just point it at anything and you have a perfectly realistic depiction of that thing, it literally does all the work for you. AI is the exact same, it does all the generic art and style stuff that is currently highly valued on it's own. When we adapt as a society we will start to appreciate the artistry that AI cannot replicate and the actual art one can create with its assistance.
Luckily copyrighting art is also dumb so it evens out.
