I’m glad I’m not affected by this having graduated from college in ‘09. I had to read/write it all myself and yes we did use Wikipedia 😅 even though professors were mostly against it. But that seems so insignificant now compared to AI writing a whole paper for you. More often than not had to actually read and find information from a book in the library or the easier way was to paraphrase from Wikipedia page or go to its sources and paraphrase for the book it cited. And even that still felt a bit like cheating then. Now Wikipedia seems quaint and cute compared to ChatGPT and such doing everything for you.
