I thought and still think AI is a nice concept but the way it's used is not okay. The problem lies where us artists did bot consent to our work being used, the people claim its completely their own without credits or mentioning AI was used. People talk like "well people use other works as their reference" they aren't claiming it's their own though and if they do they are art theif which is looked heavily down upon. Some ai artists go as far as saying we artists are now obsolete, but without posting our work they wouldn't have references to feed now would they? And I'm not saying all AI users are scummy, plenty are nice and do leave credits and mention ai.
