I always explain to people this scenario: Imagine you hire two people, and you give each one the task o make a film of their own using mostly AI. Now, it happns that, the first individual is a talented film director with experience, and the other one is just a random person chosen on the street. Who do you think will make the better movie, more expressive, more imaginative and smarter about the way they use the tools they have. Evidently, it will be the talented director. Because if both of them are using the same AI, then, what makes the difference is their knowledge skill and imagination. Imo, this simple scenario demonstrates that the more talented artist will be the one making something better. As it always has been. I want to mention that, I despise the way these AI companies have been doing things, like scrapping art without consent, training their models under the presumption of scientific research instead of the real reason that was to monetize the trained models, or how they are selling AI as an AI, or as the thing everyone needs now and all that. These actions harm peoples lifes directly, while they keep profitting off of it, which is a recurring situation in our capitalistic world
