I'm of the mind that AI Art has its VERY CONTEXTUAL uses.
However the issue in my opinion isn't AI art existing in general. But the fact that the majority of people who create it just yoink whatever they want to use for training.
I'm curious how artists feel about this. If a company was fully open, did not take ANY art without permission. Always asked for permission direct from artists and perhaps even had a like. Percentage of style source or whatever you would call it to show what art and artists the AI's art was 'inspired' or used to make that piece. To allow you to actually track down the artists.(Maybe not with the last bit since that's a bit too much of a dream scenario but I'm curious if any artists feel AI art is regardless completely wrong no matter the circumstances.)
