Uhhhh machine learning (ML) has always historically been considered part of the field of AI. And ML basically means consuming a huge amount of data and using that data to generate output in the future.
ChatGPT uses ML. This isn’t some kind of corporate rebranding of AI to something it never was. ML has always been part of AI.
