Software engineer here with 25 years experience. It’s amazing to me how much companies have taken a dump on my profession as if it’s something that anyone can do! First it was the influx of sub par Indian programmers and outsourcing. Now it’s this AI push which is even more of a disaster. Why don’t companies respect us?
