Yes, AI as a tool, that's how I see it, but the progress is accelerating, so it will soon become a very high level tool. If programming is like doing calculations by hand, AI is like a pocket calculator. Already some months ago, Google's CEO said that around 50% of their coding is written by AI. Of course Google may have more capable AI models they use internally than the public models, but still, manually writing code is quickly disappearing as a needed human skill I think.
