What other marginalized groups, other than racially black and Asian people, does facial recognition software struggle with? At what percent accuracy is something no longer considered flawed? 50+? 90%? 100%? Can it ever good enough? Does technology ever have a place in enhancing policing? Can improvable technology ever be used in the upholding of the law? And can there ever be a legal system that isn't flawed? Even if we got to a 2021 version of a perfect legal system, would the goal posts not just shift in 2022 when new social norms mandate a new perfect?
