I hate to point out the obvious, but how does an AI computer get a driver's license?
They don't even have a birth certificate.
On the other hand, I find it amusing to visualize automated driving computers... indeed the whole truck... getting arrested and put in jail cells.... for driving without a license. I'm all for automatic and technology, but as a motorcyclist, I also realize, I'm invisible to people... to a computer, just as much so, maybe even worse.
And is the vehicle going to be able to tell when something goes terribly wrong with it, like that when the load is falling off, when the engine is on fire, when there is a torando ahead flying debris through the air, when a bridge that is normally there is out, when the road is flooded, or their tires are popped and on their rims and they are just dragging a sparking monster trailer down the road setting fields on fire?
