So what I'm hearing from this is either we screw ourselves by unregulating our AI's development to make it before China or we wait for China to develop their unregulated AI that will inevitably go rogue? With the speed it has and will develop having zero predictable timeframe there is zero doubt in my mind that we're 99.8% f**** in this march to the bottom of the food chain. There is no example in nature of a species of a less intelligence having dominance over a more intelligent one, and we will be no exception.
