The working class may be some of the least at risk in the short term. It will be a long, long time before an AI bricklayer or plumber is cost effective vs a human.
Anyway, I still agree that AI needs to be carefully controlled. It's still a massive threat to many kinds of jobs.
In the short term I'd like to see any products assembled by AI and robots be marked as such so that I can avoid buying them.
