It's funny how its both possible to have a shortage of things like nurses, aide workers, teachers, truck drivers, etc. and yet we're worried about those jobs being replaced by robots? Probably just a better idea to focus on privacy, intellectual property rights, and most importantly legal liability. These robot and AI companies aren't nearly as profitable if they're held to the same moral and ethical standards as a human. If AI trucks start slamming into cars because of a bug, that's going to cost a bit of money if there's no driver to blame.
