Artists, you are (like many professions) very passionate about what you do. I do get it. However, (like any other profession) you take in information from your senses (inputs) to produce work (outputs) via calculations/decisions made in your brain. AI is only going to get better at utilising inputs to produce better outputs. I'm sorry, but AI uses inspiration just like any artist does to produce it's art.
To me it seems that artists just don't like that AI can match the quality of anything they, or any other artist, can produce. It seems to critically wound the notion of an artist's 'soul' being in their work. If a person cannot tell the difference, and is moved by AI art. Then it is art.
To me, AI is just a new type of artist, and so AI art will therefore become as accepted as digital art is now. Unless you're one of those people who say all art has to be made with paint to be "valid".
