AI improving exponentially is a bad assumption. It is likely more like a logarithmic or logit distribution (extremely fast gains initially with plateauing). This is how almost all things behave in nature. People point to Moore’s law but even that is plateauing because of physical limitations. The question with AI is really is when does the plateauing begin
