I think this is THE most important issue facing ALL of us - that no one is talking about. In the 90's almost all computer specialists dismissed the idea of a technological singularity, but by 2010 the majority agreed that it is just a matter of time, definition, sudden, gradual, etc. But it WILL happen. We will have created a superior machine "species" - poss, as Ray Kurzweil says, by the year 2029. Think you're ready? Even Singularity University admits the poss of "unfriendly AI"....
