As a 1st generation American and Indian culture based kid. I wanted to fall in love young. But here relationships are like open/cheaters. This happens/happened very early. Middle school in America level. High School level this is intensified. This is due to hormones but also, some people are ok with simple living and not growing as a family but just continuing. So the standards are very low for self worth and also work ethic. Then after High school, its really a free for all. You feel that you are missing all the random sex and happiness but soon towards the end you realize that all the heartbreak and distrust really turns people into mean and broken people. They dont truly feel loved, they dont feel like they belong, and they just become lost in what love and compassion really is. All of my aunts, uncles, and parents relatives are still together. Out of all of them I've only heard about one terrible relationship. They are still with each other and the kids know where they stand. But overall its so hard to find someone who can not only believe this, but also live it. People will ruin multiple lives for a moment and then try to justify why it was ok. Meanwhile everyone else doesn't understand because they do everything for that person just to be betrayed. Long but the reality.
