And really listening to his closing statement about AI regulation, there probably hasn’t been a worse time for something as profoundly changing for our species as AI to come about right now in history. I have absolutely zero confidence that anyone in governments around the world will make appropriate decisions regarding the safety of our civilization, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. I have two kids who are 12 and 10, and who knows what kind of world they’ll be living in when they become adults.
