"AI is accessible unlike real art" Oohohoh, just you guys wait until all the venture co money runs out and you can no longer use all the free ai services that are online and realise how much fucking money it actually costs to run these things at all, let alone to run them fast. It's like saying "Asking your professional artist friend to draw for you is accessible unlike real art", like yeah but what happens when they no longer want to draw for you? Learning to draw is a lot easier and simpler than a) buying all the hardware you need to run these models and b) setting that shit up so it not only works at all but, again, works well and fast and doesn't produce ugly trash AND you have to get training data from SOMEWHERE (aka stealing from REAL artists because feeding ai its own trash has very bad results, unsurprisingly) "AI is inevitable" yeah yeah, just like crypto was inevitable, just like block chain and all that other shit. Now, AI is definitely and obviously a lot more widespread and has a lot more practicality (for big corporations) so it will definitely have a lot more staying power, it has already done pretty much irreparable damage to the internet with all the endless spam and the world as a whole, a lot of people worldwide are getting fired to be replaced by AI or are being forced to work WITH ai, it made scamming peoplea thousand times easier with all the voice faking and such and also it consumes an ungodly amounts of electricity and produces a ton of waste WHAT GREAT FUCKING TECHNOLOGY GUYS YOU REALLY KILLED IT THIS TIME "It's just a new medium like digital art" bruh
