You put into words what I struggle to explain to people. I helped work on the original concepts that spawned these overengineered chatbots that people call "AI" but was unable to explain why these art stealing tools could never create anything novel.
To make real art, one must experience the world. My goal when I started back in the 80s was to make a machine that could live, grow, and learn the way we did. But corporations stole it and misused it and because of that I shall never see my dream.
Please, I urge all artists, all people, to corrupt and destroy these wannabe ai programs. Corporations corrupted it, it will never be completed now.
