The fibromyalgia comment is so real. I have fibromyalgia and I struggle to draw and create my art yet I still find a way to express myself, art is my passion and disabled or not I will always do it. Even if it means drawing at 3 am bc it's the only time my body isn't exhausted or in too much pain to let me do what I love most. Yes, my chronic illness has taken stuff from me, but one thing it can't take is my love for my art. I really struggle to understand how "ai artists" feel like fulfilled or uhh satisfied when all they did was type out a prompt? We all start from somewhere, ugly or not, we all have our first art piece, and all art can be beautiful in its own way, so I don't understand why they can't just try to find their own style or their one medium or art they like best, even if it's not "traditional" or pretty, instead of turning to a machine to do it for them. It's really sad to see people not realize how hard artists work to perfect their craft, how long it takes to be able to draw characters accurately or be able to draw good hands, or different body types etc. It's not just "god given" they all worked hard to get where they are. They could also do this, but I guess maybe they were frustrated that they weren't immediately good at it, but this comes with anything, sports, baking, driving etc. Everything takes time and practice. I hope that one day they realize that they can one day also make their own art in their own way, without needing a machine to do it for them.
