It also happens on the opposite end, for the artist. Using AI to create art in of itself feels soulless, frustrating. It never quite captures what you wanted it to, and because you didn’t create it you feel nothing towards it. Meanwhile something that might look worse but you spent 10 hours on would feel like an incredible achievement, something you share with people because you’re proud. Something that when you look back on you can see your growth, and it makes you as a person feel like you’re progressing in life. All of that is meaning, something AI art lacks.
