2 minutes in and they're already being incredibly disingenuous.
Even IF their word is to be believed, that its only looking at license plates... That's still really bad.
Sure, its not looking at your face... but the government already has information about who you are, where you're from, and your license plate.
they don't need to look for your face.
they will look for your vehicle using this.
then of course its gonna be used for facial recognition... otherwise they couldnt surveil pedestrians.
