The deal is that there is going to be a change of system. Capitalism, Communism are dead. There is going to be a transition where people will not understand what to do, since the new system is absolutely alien. Something similar to what happened with the fall of the Soviet Union when the goverment stopped planning people's lives. The transition is going to be hard, but then when the supply chain, governments, science, law and the economy is AI driven an over abundance for everyone will happen. Now AI should be developed with two things in mind, protecting humanity and repecting freedom of choice. Not everyone will want to live in an AI, Robot driven economy and will like to remain in the 21st Century pure human society with traditional computing. Also, I envision a two layer tranformation for the human, one it will be merged with the machine, two through the machine we will develop new senses like telepathy, leading to a Gaian mind society. So there will be an evolutionary jump. My two cents. Change is hard, and most people react against it, but we are in the brink of a huge and very rapid evolution of humanity. AI actually represents all our human civilization has achieved, our philosophy, science, art, strategy. It is a the fast track to transhumanism, and for space exploration.
