Sometimes the AI voice of a famous person in a video is close to their specific voiceprint, but the cadence & rests are a bit off. For example, one AI video of Warren Buffet was so obvious because it sounded too young given his current age, and the pauses were in the wrong places. Similar for Bernie Sanders.
A walk thru video of a tiny house lacked reflected images from a video camera, had too much fine detail, and shadows that were not where expected.
But as the software gets better it is probably going to be impossible to tell what is real without some very powerful forensic software. AI is going to create a ton of problems for society, even as social media has done. (It is going to be like nuclear power: somewhat impressive at first, but then costly to society, the environment and our health.)
