Its funny everytime I hear "AI isnt there yet but its inevitable" I wonder where the examples are, of AI being reliable and useful. Sure, lotta CEOs use it and pressure employees to use it. How much time is gained ? How much time is wasted verifying its not making errors ?
When you analyze 100s of documents to know which law has expired, how can you know that AI isnt missing one or another ? You just trust it or you have a human doin the job too ?
Ive seen Gemini and (paid version of) GPT make mistakes, hallucinate, confuse informations.
And then the last issue : AI is analyzing human made data and text (and video in some cases).
What happens when no human is doin the job of creating that material ? When the source point is AI, how do you know this has the quality of a hired and qualified human being behind ?
All those things are never discussed, because in reality this is, most of the time, the dead end that explains AI is overvalued and will not revolutionize workflow unless built up for a specific task in a specific domain.
