You know, I think I would consider myself on the "other side" since I dabble in ai generated content. The ease of access to it makes it very intoxicating. That said I would say it is ethically wrong for these ai models to be trained on content against artist consent. I don't really know what to do with that information though. Artists definitely are fighting an uphill battle here simply because there's so much money involved.
