There will always be a driver in the truck , here's why:
These trucks will not be perfect. Nothing is perfect. Autonomous CARS have hurt and killed people.
When it happens, it's hushed up, and huge settlements are paid.
There will always be a safety driver because there MUST be someone to hold accountable for the injuries and deaths that will happen.
However, the job won't pay a living wage. It will turn into a $10 per hour job if we are lucky.
