A.I. is not capable of general intelligence. It only mimics inputs. It will impact jobs but there is a lot of hype perpetuated by those who benefit from this type of hysteria. In the 60's we were going to have flying cars a la Jetsons or we were going to be zooming around with jets on our backs. We need to be wary of science fiction such as robots being sentient or replacing humans.
