Raw LLM Responses

Um. Why would google fire AI ethicists?… because following their advice would stymie innovation, which would cause them to lose competitive ground to other companies. They would then attract less investment interest, which would lower their stock price and…you get the picture. Not necessarily the explanation, but something along these lines is a good first pass at an explanation. I wonder if this guy is seriously in the dark about why Google would do it…. Better question is why Google would employ them in the first place in the absence of serious regulation of the area. I have a guess, but I’ll leave it as an open question: it would be cool if someone used AI to answer it for shits and giggles.
