Problem is: as long as critics and haters of AI art are mainly claiming, that it is as simple as writing a prompt, they are getting it wrong at least partially. You can create an arbitrary image this way - but creating a SPECIFIC image with special details and style, you need to juggle many different numerical parameters and first select an appropriate AI model from hundreds - as everybody who ever used GUI like A1111 or ComfyUI knows well. If I only give you a prompt and no additional information, nobody of you will be able to create even a similar image. This is a new way of looking at things - using old measures here will only get you so far. Most AI images are crap. But not for the reasons that are mostly mentioned here... And simply creating something by hand doesn't make it 'art'. It is easy to bash the majority of self proclaimed AI artists - but many arguments won't hold water if you look at them more closely.
