The question shouldn't ask "if" AI will make work obsolete, but rather simply "when". Even if you only look at the current state of AI and robotics, combining the current intelligence of claude with current mobility of Boston Dynamic's Atlas, a large portion of jobs could be automated. We are simply waiting for Boston Dynamics to launch the robot and scale, and for companies to implement them. Of course AI and robotics will continue to improve while all this happens.
