Am I the only one who considers the AI Artist mindset to be.. kind of infantile? Their logic revolves around "I typed in words, this image popped out, so now it's mine." It kind of reminds me of object permanence in babies, where if they see something they genuinely believe that it stops existing. Instead this time, they type what they want and art pops out, so that must mean the art produced was entirely their creation. Even though it doesn't even belong to them on a literal, legal, and metaphorical sense, they claim ownership and tribulations of that picture because they think they made it pop into existence.
