we are in the plateau. you have it wrong. take it from someone deeply obsessed about ai. reasoning can be applied to absolutely anything, the companies have just not had the RESOURCES AND TIME to focus on that there are some other much more important priorities for them right now. Give a a couple years for the amount of compute and the agents running agents training on the most specific tasks, reasoning about anything specific, to explode.
