I watched the full interview with the CEO of Alpha schools and she said the teachers are present for assistance. Only the first 2 hours are with an AI teacher which is similar to a human teacher on a video with a question and answer session afterwards. The child is not allowed to move forward until they show proficiency in that subject area. This allows the kids to learn at their own pace. My son went to a private school that used similar techniques with a computer and he absolutely excelled whereas he was failing, left behind , frustrated and eventually gave up trying to learn. Thank God we had the means to put him in a school better suited to his individual learning pace and skills. This school may be helpful to many students if they are able to learn life skills as well. They will be using the ai/computer to learn, not
scrolling social media! And it will be controlled, unlike their Iphone.
