Let me give you another perspective: think of the majority of people who want to create something but don't have the skills, time, equipment, talent or even the opportunity. Should art be gate kept to a select few and only available to those who can afford it?
Sure people will say "AI art isnt human, doesnt have emotions" blah blah blah. Look: some people just want a studio ghibli style display pic of themselves for their social media without having to bother someone, paying someone, or waiting for days to get it.
