I personally cannot justify the use of any AI technologies in my life, considering all the downsides and negative consequences associated with it. Unwarranted immense water wasting needed for cooling, making average people foot the electrical bill, making global warming worse, AI therapists/companions causing psychological and physical harm, making compromising images of real people, massive layoffs, increasing social isolation, increasing discrimination, reaping benefits from pure plagiarism for a tiny percentage, leaving people with cognitive debt, making disinformation spreading easier and not to mention the insane abuse of people living in 3rd world countries to develop this tech, leaving people with lasting trauma and ruining their lives.
All this for what in return? A wonky image... Cool.
