i remember when artists and writers were crying, the IT bros were smug and "well you should just learn how to code, and get a real job!" and then the mass layoffs began for them. something about leopard eating faces. the billionaire tech oligarchs n the greedy ceos turned middle class people against each other, but the whole time the average IT worker is closer to some underpaid animator or indie writer than they're to the tech billionaires. ive been telling people how bad AI is for humanity and employment, and even for the products and the company itself beside for some quick cost-cutting, and now we're fed with messy vibe codes, shitty entertainment, ai slop books, ai slop videos, ai surveillance everywhere etc. but the bubble is going to burst.
