ahh, but imagine being back in 1890 when probably around then the first motorised cars appeared. Maybe you get in one... find it loud.. smelly... keeps breaking down.. heavy handling and with a top speed of likely 10mph.... fast forward 30 years and its quite different. AI is already incredibly useful.. I would go as far as to say it has already changed my life. I can see they are experimenting with bio AI where they create chips with living cells that interface with electronics.. (quite creepy.. but its tech) and then they have quantum computers on the way.. I just think as long as we dont have a global event that stops it , then we're looking at AI that would surpass us fairly soon... we might be looking at things we never even thought about, let alone thought were possible.
