the recording unfortunately might come to mean nothing, since the very fact those recordings have to be made, a machine can learn to emulate the process. all in all, your point at minute 11:30 , the reason is its huge cash flow, it being at the expense of others has never stopped greed , and to be fair, there is no reason to not just go with the flow at the point were in now in the world. salvage what you can while you can before shit hits the fan is the default rule. this isnt just relative to art , this will happen everywhere and it most likely will mean a global economy crash regarding skills, products and services.
edit: for those who doubt how much AI can and will harm the world, any site like fiverr or upwork, are FULL of chatbots pretending to be a professional, no matter the field of skill or knowledge required, and this has been the case for over 2 years, and its gotten worse. (most likely, site owners do not care, since they bank anyways)
