Just based off your video description, I agree sam. Technology advances, it is inevitable. Even if you went extremist, and banned any kind of AI technology, all you would do is let less scrupulous people develop the technology in secret, without any competition. When they finally unleash whatever malicious scheme they concocted using AI technology, we won't have the understanding, contingencies, tools or legislation to deal with it.
A society we must adapt to AI technologies and find ways to detect its usage, prevent it's abuse, and prepare contingencies and legislation for those who will misuse it. It's a tool - an incredibly advanced tool that will definitely impact us for decades to come - which is why it's all the more important that we the people, the community, come together on this and properly look at the issues it presents, and the issues that will come to pass.
