Perhaps ultimately AI will build spacecraft to take our DNA and travel the long distances through the galaxy to find other planets on which to seed new human races from scratch. So perhaps the human race is at the same final stage as the salmon that has reached the upper streams of the river. Finding a way to continue the human race somewhere in the galaxy may become the ultimate goal. On living forever, no thanks. I'm 80 and I loved the job I did for 40 years but after 40 years I had done enough. I've done most things in life I ever wanted to do and I just don't get excited about day to day challenges the way I used to. I'm ready for the next iteration of the "simulation". 😄
