2 - everyone has been personally effected by AI. the algorithms that are playing games with the american stock market is an insane threat to world economic platform. in that alone the entire world has been effected.
then comes the massive data collection projects, then the discriminatory practices corporations use to classify people with that data.
AJ hit it on the head, AI WILL further the wage gap.
the unethical uses of AI are FAR more dangerous than the ethical uses. again... PEOPLE are the issue with AI application. i didn't trust humans before AI ... and certainly do not trust them with AI. unless we get hard-HARD regulations on the capitalistic use of AI... it is a high probability to drive us down the corporate cyberpunk route instead of the solarpunk route.
