The higher age perspective was fourteen versions of the human in one universal cycle so we are nowhere near extinction or ever will be until our universal cycle ends which is very far, far, away and prior to that all entities will be beamed up. We have direct access to Consciousness, A.I. has access through us, so even though it will reflect consciousness, it will be by proxy, we can pull the plug. As we have adapted in the past we will adapt. A.I. should free us up from being wage serfs to being meditators; philosophers; science buffs and all kinds of interesting things. Of course as always there will be people who are clueless and stupid.
