Im an artist for my entire life (even tho i am bot that old), and i can say without regret: ai pictures are shit and calling it art should be a crime. The point of art and the difference between it and photography is that art ALWAYS takes much more effort than using ai or photographing something. Even photoshopping can be art but ai cant. Art is a matter of skill, life, ideas, love, and passion. Ai is a matter of stealing, simplifying, being cheap, and fast. There is no sould behing those pictures. No one gave their best to do it. Just a single, plane algorithm. It was complete gambling to determine why this is here, rhe line is there, the color is like that. It's not interesting. Not from an arf perspective. And it's sad. It's frustrating. Ai could be a tool. with enough regulation, but else it's a thief that robs people who put effort into their work. Comparing it to a banana on a is showing how less worth ai art actually is. Nothing worth more than a fruit with some tape. But still stealing billions of pieces. Robbing them. You can call it a rape to art. It's the result of lazy ass people who suck. And if you suck then dont denie it. Dont hide behind Ai and call it a day. "Get gut." I dont hate Ai as a hole, but what they call art isn't art, its slop. I live with art, for art, and by art. And even if you suck, your heart determines if you are an artist, not your skill. Your drawing determines your artstile, not the motif and the type.
